Meet Matt Mizzoni, a second-year pediatric resident whose life took an unexpected turn when he was diagnosed with Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS). His journey began in the acute care unit at Covenant HealthCare, where he received initial treatment. Later, Matt was transferred to Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation at Covenant HealthCare in Saginaw, where he spent four weeks in the Adult Inpatient Rehabilitation program working to stabilize his impairment and regain his mobility.
